Performance and Usage

Dissolve in water, decompose in acid to precipitate silica, insoluble in alcohol. Belonging to the category of polysilicates, their aqueous solutions exhibit alkaline reactions due to strong hydrolysis. Has good adhesive properties, which are related to modulus, concentration, and temperature.

The product is mainly used as a binder for refractory materials, as an additive for oilfield drilling fluids, and in the manufacture of welding electrodes, welding electrodes, reduction dyes, fire retardants, curing agents. It is also used in the production of fluorescent screen coatings, inorganic coatings, soap fillers, and pharmaceuticals.
